Op ASCEND is a government-backed employment service that supports veterans by providing career advice and helping them connect with veteran-friendly employers.
Our Veterans and Employability programmes have come together to offer a free, tailored 1-1 support in the following areas:
- CV structure and application support
- Interview techniques and mock interviews
- Volunteering opportunities with Burnley FC in the Community
- Work placements with local veteran friendly organisations
- Wellbeing support and referrals
- Social activities
- Opportunity to gain a suite of qualifications with the FA.
