BFCitC Celebrate Partnership with BRSK

At Burnley FC in the Community we have a number of different partnerships, one in particular that we would like to celebrate is with ‘brsk’. Without partnerships such as this one a lot of what we do would not be possible and for that we are truly thankful.

Lewis Auld from brsk has said:

It’s not just about fast fibre.….It’s also about moral fibre.

The warm-hearted folk at brsk have been participating in many of the community projects in which they operate. One of them has been in collaboration with Burnley FC in the Community. As a result, the people there are buzzin’ with excitement. You see, it’s all about rolling up sleeves and getting things done. In this case, the job at hand is for the greater good of the people in the area. That’s because it’s the right thing to do.

Recently, the team at brsk helped to collect food parcels from various organisations, including iconic global brands such as Kellogg’s and SPAR. Adding a little celebrity excitement to the picture was none other than TikTok star, Max McCann. His energy and enthusiasm helped reel in the support from numerous local businesses. Brsk’s very own Jo and BFCitC’s Ben Bottomley drove around the community in one of brsk’s unmistakable pink vans, popping into offices and businesses to collect as many food parcels as possible. This was part of their efforts in a major drive to assist with the World Hunger Food Project.

So, does it come down to broadband and connectivity? In many ways, it does. Brsk has reached over 53,000 homes and businesses in Burnley alone. They’ve spent the last two years building infrastructure, using their own fibre optic cables that run under the streets and over houses. Not only is their broadband offering the fastest and most reliable type of broadband available in the UK, it’s super-affordable too. And to top it off, customers will never experience unexpected mid-contract price hikes. Now that’s honest-to-goodness service.

So, yes it’s about broadband and connectivity. But the guys (and girls) at brsk are connecting on every imaginable level. They’re connecting with people. Reaching out. Touching hearts. Making a difference. Because moral fibre is the foundation of a strong, connected community.
