On Wednesday 28th July, we had the immense pleasure of hosting this year’s Premier League Disability Football Festival for the North, in partnership with the amazing Premier League Charitable Fund.
This event brought together nearly 250 young people from 24 clubs to celebrate inclusivity and gave us the opportunity to showcase our Disability Programme, Limitless Clarets.
Providing a wide range of additional activities, taking the word festival and embracing it. Throughout the day young people had the opportunity to experience the 3 metre climbing wall, take part in a variety of inflatable football fun including darts and 3v3 zones, as well as the chance to enjoy the driving range and mini golf as well as have the opportunity to relax in our sensory room.
In addition to this Ben Davie delivered an amazing, inspirational and most importantly an inclusive workshop for all young people to take part in, which they absolutely loved.
All young people went home smiling despite the weather, after an amazing day and receiving not one, but two goodie bags, thanks to The Premier League Charitable Fund and Milk Education.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed hosting it.
We would like to express our thanks to all the organizations who contributed to making this event truly special. A big thank you goes to the Premier League Charitable Trust, Milk Education, The Golf Trust, Let’s Go Physio and Jay-care Stairlift and Mobility for their invaluable support.
