We were thrilled to recently welcome Oliver, the Managing Director of Bowland IT, and his admin team to Turf Moor to visit our Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, Ben Bottomley. During the meeting we discussed our partnership and how it has benefited both organisations over the past year!
The All-Onside Partnership is designed to bring together the expertise of Bowland IT and the community engagement of Burnley FC in the Community, with the goal of creating positive social impact in our local area. Our partnership with Bowland IT focuses on three key areas: education, employability and health and wellbeing.
Over the course of the last year, Bowland IT have collaborated with us on various initiatives including the establishment of Clitheroe’s first Dementia Support Group, located at The Salvation Army in Clitheroe. They also provided Easter Eggs to all the children attending our summer sports camps and offered support for our other events throughout the year.
Oliver, the Managing Director of Bowland IT, stated, “We are thrilled to renew our partnership with Burnley FC in the Community. We have witnessed the positive impact that our joint initiatives have had on the local community over the past year, and we are eager to continue this work in the coming year. We take great pride in being associated with a club that is truly dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of people within the region.”
Ben Bottomley, Head of Partnerships at Burnley FC in the Community, shared the sentiment, saying, “We are extremely grateful to continue our partnership with Bowland IT. Our collective initiatives have made a tangible difference in the lives of individuals within the local community, and we are enthusiastic about further advancing this work in the upcoming year. Our partnership with Bowland IT serves as an excellent example of how businesses and sports clubs can collaborate to deliver positive social impact.”
The renewal of the All-Onside partnership demonstrates the commitment of Bowland IT and Burnley FC in the Community to making a positive difference in the North West of England. Through their joint initiatives, they are helping to improve the education, employability, and health and wellbeing of people in the local community. We look forward to seeing the positive impact that they will continue to make over the next year.
