We are incredibly pleased to announce that Burnley FC in the Community has appointed Helen Gurman as its new Chief Executive Officer to oversee the continued growth of the official charity of Burnley Football Club.
Helen has worked at Burnley FC in the Community for over five years and has been working as interim CEO since January, playing an integral role in the growth of the charity.
On her appointment Helen commented, “I have seen Burnley FC in the Community grow and develop over the past five years and I am looking forward to the future and the new opportunities still ahead of us”.
“The opportunity to lead Burnley FC in the Community is a great honour, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with our amazing staff, Trustees, the Club and all of our partners and supporters to drive the charity forward for the future”.
Chair of Trustees, Brian Nelson added: “It’s fantastic that we can recognise and reward Helen’s hard work over the years that she has been with Burnley FC in the Community”.
“She is recognised by all BFCitC and BFC staff as a key leader within the charity and someone who brings continuous positivity and stability to the organisation.”
