For over a year now, Burnley FC in the Community have been actively involved in the HAF program, and every moment has been immensely rewarding.
Our HAF program allows us to organise free holiday activities during Easter, Summer, and Christmas Breaks, focusing on providing nutritious meals and engaging experiences for eligible children.
During our recent Easter Camps, we welcomed 64 children to our activity-filled camps through the HAF program. During the camps the children are offered the opportunity to take part in activities such as football, nerf wars, dancing, arts and crafts, climbing and so much more. Our camps also place a huge focus on supporting the children to learn new skills and make new friends.
As part of this program, we have even offered some of the children the opportunity to become mascots and win tickets to games, creating unforgettable memories for them that would often not be possible without our support.
After such a fantastic year, we are thrilled to announce the continuation of our HAF program this summer!
