On Monday 29th September, Burnley FC in the Community will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning at The Leisure Box between 12pm-3pm, proudly supporting The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign.
Every year, thousands of coffee mornings, big and small, raise vital funds to support the 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
This event is part of our Clarets vs Cancer Support Group, which offers a safe, welcoming space for anyone living with or beyond cancer.
Our Prehab Sessions take place every Tuesday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, while our Rehab Sessions run on Mondays from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Both sessions provide a safe and welcoming environment where participants can connect with others, receive one-to-one advice, and access tailored support for their health and wellbeing.

Burnley FC in the Community’s Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, Martin Payne told us: “A coffee morning is a lovely way to reconnect over a cuppa, share something sweet, and support a brilliant cause all in one.”
Thank you to Fort Vale Engineering LTD , Premier League and PFA for supporting Clarets Rise and thank you to our partners Macmillan Cancer and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust for supporting our sessions.
If you’d like to learn more about our Clarets vs Cancer Support Groups, or simply join us for a relaxed coffee afternoon, we’d love to see you on Monday 29th September.
