On Wednesday 20th September, we had the opportunity to share our Limitless Clarets Disability Project with people far and wide. We headed to Pendle Community High School & College, where we hosted a day full of our Limitless Clarets sessions.
Our coaches led a wide range of activities for the children, such as golf, boccia, football, a sensory circuit, and a confidence workshop. This provided the children with opportunities to explore new sports and further develop their skills in their favourite ones.

To top off the day, we were joined by Burnley Football Club First Team Players: Jack Cork, Josh Cullen, Dara O’Shea, and Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson. The children had the chance to ask their burning questions, like, “Who is your best friend at Burnley FC?” and “Who inspired you the most as you grew up?” It’s safe to say everyone cherished every moment.
We also had the immense honour of making Ifras, who has been an active participant in our program for over five remarkable years, as our Premier League Kicks Champion. We had the privilege of awarding him his very own signed Burnley FC Shirt.

We would like to express our immense gratitude to The Premier League Charitable Fund for this opportunity and for supporting the project itself. A big thank you also goes out to our Limitless partners: Jay-Care Stairlift & Mobility, Milk Education, Sense, Team Rise Project East Lancashire, The Golf Trust and Ygam Charity.
Finally, we want to extend our thanks to the staff and students at Pendle Community High School, as well as the Burnley Football Club players, for being a part of a truly magical day.
