Burnley FC in the Community are proud to introduce our Cancer Rehabilitation Programme ‘Clarets Rise’. We have partnered up with NHS East Lancashire Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support to create a safe environment for support and one to one advice for anyone living with or beyond cancer.
The group is centered around rehabilitation, information, socialisation, and exercise! During the sessions, there will be a range of healthcare professionals who are able to offer expert advice on topics such as diet, lymphoedema prevention, holistic therapies, and support groups. The sessions will offer individuals the chance to take part in different activities and exercises at appropriate levels to each person. We encourage our participants to share their experiences and support each other.
Sessions take place every Monday, 1pm – 3pm at The Leisure Box in Brierfield.
