Our HATCH Employability programme is for young people between the ages of 18-25 who want to attend paid four-week placements in a business in the local community.
Our Hatch Employability Programme has been co-designed with young people and employers, utilising learnings from KFC employability programme portfolio, and enables young people to develop essential skills, understand the job market, and be supported in their transition into work.
Taking part in our programme can bring a number of benefits to candidates, including:

Our Clarets Elevate Employability anyone aged 18 plus who want needs help and support
Our Elevate Employability Programme enables people to develop essential skills, understand the job market, and be supported into work.

Op ASCEND is a government-backed employment service that supports veterans by providing career advice and helping them connect with veteran-friendly employers.
Our Veterans and Employability programmes have come together to offer ‘Beyond The Barracks’, a free, tailored 1-1 support in the following areas:
- CV structure and application support
- Interview techniques and mock interviews
- Volunteering opportunities with Burnley FC in the Community
- Work placements with local veteran friendly organisations
- Wellbeing support and referrals
- Social activities
- Opportunity to gain a suite of qualifications with the FA.
