Fitter ex-forces

Our Fitter Ex-Forces project is aimed at improving the mental and physical health of those who have served in the Armed Forces and their immediate families (over 16).

Tuesdays

Ex-Forces Fitness [Female Only] – Various Locations

Between 08:00 – 20:00 BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

Wednesdays

‘Chairobics’ – takes place during ‘Whitehough Workshops

Between 10:00-14:00pm – last Tuesday every month (outdoors in the Summer)

Football training including Ex-Forces Fitness, at The Prairie Sports Village, lower 4G pitch

19.00-21.00 – April – September

20:00 – 21:30 – October – March 

Thursdays

Ex-Forces Fitness [Mixed] – Various Locations

From 19.00 BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

  • To register for this project we will need to see proof of service and have you fill out a health questonaire. There is no pressure to complete our  online registration – participants are welcome to come down on the day to complete in-person.

If you are interested in other areas of Fitter Ex-Forces but not all of them you can discuss this with our member of staff when they contact you. Please note all practical sessions require a Physical Activity Questionnaire to be completed before the activity can commence.
