bfc womens juniors
The BFC Women Juniors’ programme nurtures and develops homegrown female talent, providing local girls with an opportunity to access high quality training sessions.
A key part of our pathway is to develop local talent
This season, after completing our trial and selection process, we have girls from across the North-West that make up four age-banded teams within BFC Women Juniors: Under 10s, Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s
Burnley FC coaches that are UEFA B qualified or equivalent are responsible for the training and development of the homegrown junior teams.
Players train on average twice a week, with a game at the weekend in the local leagues and the Lancashire FA Girls cup.
The popularity of our BFC Women Juniors project has grown year on year, with over 300 girls coming down to our summer trials to try out for a place in one of our teams.
