Our Football Hub sessions provide an excellent opportunity for players seeking supplementary training to refine and elevate their skills, alongside their existing involvement with their grassroots club or any other training they may receive elsewhere.

These sessions are tailored for young footballers within the local community, encompassing individuals aged between 6 and 16.

The programme runs over a duration of 10 to 12 weeks, at just £5 per session!

The Football Hubs are conducted on a consistent weekly basis, led by the experienced coaches from Burnley FC in the Community.

BFCITC also specialises in goalkeeper training, as part of some of our football hubs features a dedicated goalkeeper coach. The unique gk hub setup provides our goalkeepers with the chance to engage with specific gk session and practice those skills within sessions with the outfield players!

Case studies

Teddy (U9)

We first saw Teddy on our Easter camp and he soon stood out as someone who liked football and could play.

He showed great attitude with his fellow teammates and the coaches. From this, he was invited to take a trial at the Player Development Centre (PDC) U9 squad and really impressed during this time.

Teddy has shown fantastic technical and personal attributes in the program so far and we look forward to seeing Teddy grow and develop further in our U9 PDC squad.

Kai (U12)

Kai started our Football Hub program in the Spring of 2023. He stayed there for 4 months and in that time, Kai showed great attitude and willingness to learn, as well as resilience to any difficulties or challenges he faced.

Alongside this, Kai displayed good technical and physical attributes which developed further within our Football Hub program.

In October 2023, Kai was invited to our Player Development Centre (PDC) friendly match for U12, where he impressed and was offered a place in the PDC. He is now part of our 12 PDC squad.

Well done, Kai!
