Han-Noah Massengo makes clothes donation to BFCitC Projects

On Monday 22nd January, Han-Noah Massengo, Denis Franchi and Hjalmar Ekdal visited Nelson and Colne College to speak to the students from BFCitC’s Shadow Youth Team, Netball Academy and Cricket Academy.

The players initially toured our various sports teams during their training sessions to observe the dedication of our students to their studies. The tour was followed by a Q&A with the players for all our students which provided an excellent opportunity for our aspiring sports students to gain insights into the life of a player and the dynamics of the sports industry.

The final part of the visit took the form of Burnley FC in the Community’s Pop-Up Shop, stocked with clothes generously donated by Han-Noah Massengo. Exceptional students on the course and those facing more challenging circumstances were given the chance to select complimentary items from the shop.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Han-Noah Massengo for providing this incredible opportunity and for bringing smiles to the faces of many of our students.

The excitement continued when Ameen Al-Dakhil, CJ Egan-Riley, and Lawrence Vigouroux paid a special visit to Turf Moor for a Q&A session with our Walking Football and Walking Netball team.

Given that many of our participants are lifelong Burnley FC fans, this provided a fantastic opportunity for them to pose their questions and learn more about the players they support!

BFCitC would like to say a huge thank you to all the players and Burnley Football Club for these fantastic opportunities that allow us to bring our participants closer to the team.
