On Tuesday 5th February, Burnley FC in the Community are hosting a Premier League Primary Stars Under-11 National Girls Football Tournament 2024 Regional Qualifier and will be represented by Water Primary School.
Ten regional tournaments will be staged at community facilities across the country, with hundreds of young people representing Premier League, EFL and National League clubs hoping to win the opportunity to play on a Premier League pitch, in the playing kit of their respective professional football club. Last year, more than 14,500 girls took part in the regional events.
Ahead of next week’s tournament, we wanted to introduce you to our incredible team who shared with us their stories of how they got into football and who their biggest female footballer inspirations are.
