Paralympic Gold Medallist Gregg Stevenson visits Burnley FC in the Community’s Veterans Breakfast Club

This week, the Burnley FC in the Community Veterans Breakfast Club welcomed two extraordinary guests: Paralympic Gold Medallist Gregg Stevenson and his business partner Brent, a remarkable individual whose life has transformed dramatically.

The two first met five years ago at Burnley FC in the Community’s Veterans Social Club, where Gregg was a Veteran Project Officer and Brent was a participant. Their journey from that initial meeting to their current successes is truly inspiring.

Gregg shared his inspiring journey, detailing his experiences before, during, and after his competitive rowing career in France. He emphasized the crucial role of nutrition in achieving peak performance and our veterans were captivated by his story and were very proud of his accomplishments.

Brent, shared his story of how he had his leg amputated in 2022 to improve his quality of life, and has since made an incredible turnaround. He now owns a successful law firm and has partnered with Gregg.

Together, they discussed their shared passion for health and fitness, which has been pivotal in their recovery and overall wellbeing. From CrossFit to motorsport, their dedication to an active lifestyle has significantly enhanced their physical and mental health.

Congratulations to Gregg and Brent for their remarkable achievements in both their business and personal lives and thank you for coming and sharing your powerful stories with out Veterans.
