Thanks to the incredible efforts of local technology and cybersecurity company Seriun, an amazing £3,617 has been raised for Burnley FC in the Community to help us continue supporting people across Burnley and the surrounding areas.
As a Burnley-based business, Seriun is passionate about giving back to the local community and supporting organisations that make a positive difference. Earlier this year, the company joined our ‘100 Club Mission: Possible‘ initiative, which challenges businesses to raise at least £1,000 over 12 months through creative fundraising activities that support our work across the local area.
Seriun Mission: Possible challenge
Taking their fundraising mission to extraordinary heights, Seriun’s Head of Cyber, Wayne Fulton, set out to carry a fridge to the summit of Snowdon and back down again as part of the company’s Mission: Possible challenge.
Joined by a team of Seriun colleagues on the mountain, Wayne completed the challenge while carrying the fridge every step of the journey, demonstrating incredible determination, resilience and commitment to supporting local people through Burnley FC in the Community.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters and the dedication of everyone involved, the challenge raised an incredible £3,617. Not only did Seriun surpass the £1,000 target set through Mission: Possible, but they more than tripled it, making a significant contribution towards our work in the community.
Making a Difference in Our Community
The donation will help us continue delivering programmes that support people of all ages, from improving health and wellbeing and tackling social isolation to providing opportunities for young people to develop, grow and achieve their potential.
We are incredibly grateful to Wayne, everyone at Seriun and all those who donated and supported the challenge. Their generosity will help us continue making a meaningful difference to the lives of people across our communities.
