We’re excited to announce that our Shadow Youth Team Trial will now take place at Burnley Football Club’s Training Centre!
In partnership with Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form and Accrington and Rossendale College, our Football and Education Programme offers young players aged 16–18 the opportunity to combine academic studies with elite football training.
For our next trial of the season, we are inviting male students in Year 10 and Year 11 to participate.
- Date: Tuesday 27th May 2025
- Time: 11:00AM – 1:00PM
- Location: Burnley Training Centre, Habergham Dr, Burnley BB12 8UA
- Ages: 14 – 16 Years Old
Important Information
- If you had already registered for our original trial at Nelson and Colne College on Tuesday 27th May, before Monday 19th May 5pm, your place is guaranteed.
- Registration closes at 12PM on Friday 23rd May. Confirmation emails will be sent to successful applicants, which will include further information and training ground guidelines.
- Players must arrive in full training kit, ready to play.
- Only one parent/carer per player are welcome to attend and spectate.
- The trial is open to Year 10 and Year 11 students. If oversubscribed, Year 11s will be prioritised.
- Burnley FC in the Community Academy Recruitment Staff will be in attendance.
