On Monday 23rd October, we hosted our Premier League Kicks Football Tournament, and we had the pleasure of welcoming two special guests: Burnley FC First Team players CJ Egan-Riley and Vitinho.
Premier League Kicks runs during term time across East Lancashire, offering free baseball, cricket, climbing, football, multi-sports and netball sessions for young people aged 8 – 18 years old.
These sessions allow a safe space for young people to learn new skills, develop as individuals, create new friendships and participate in free sporting activities 5 days a week. Our Premier League Kicks sessions also include educational workshops for young people regarding local and national issues.
The players caught up with our young participants, discussing the importance of hard work to achieve their goals in football. They also had the opportunity to watch our teams display their skills.
